Favorite Character from a Story: Draw and Write -- Draw a picture of your favorite character from a story, then write about the character and why you like this character.

Least Favorite Character from a Story: Draw and Write -- Draw a picture of your least favorite character from a story, then write about the character and why you dislike this character.

Favorite Scene from a Story: Draw and Write -- Draw a picture of your favorite scene from a story, then write about who is in it and what they are doing.

Gingerbread Man: Draw and Write -- Draw a picture of a gingerbread man. Describe what it looks like, and write about why you decorated it the way you did and how it would taste.

If I Swallowed A Fly: Draw and Write -- Write about what you would do if you swallowed a fly, like the old lady at the beginning of the rhyme, The Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly, and draw a picture of the scene.

Magic Wand: Draw and Write -- Draw a picture of a magic wand. Write about what the wand looks like and what magical things you could do with it.

The Mitten: Draw and Write -- Think of a different ending for The Mitten story. Then draw a picture of the mitten as it looks at the end of your version of the story.

Monster: Draw and Write -- Draw a picture of a very scary monster and write about it. Why is this monster so scary?
